If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We process orders quickly, so changes can only be made before your order has been shipped. Once an order is in transit, it cannot be modified or canceled, but you may be eligible for a return once you receive it.

Yes. We offer $5 wallpaper samples for every design in our catalog. Samples let you see and feel the actual material in your own lighting before committing to a full order. The best part: your $5 sample cost is credited toward a full roll purchase of the same design, making the sample essentially free when you buy.

All wallpaper at The Wallpaper Depot is priced per square foot for clarity. Each roll measures 20.9 inches by 393.7 inches (0.53 m by 10 m) and covers approximately 57 square feet. Our launch sale pricing ranges from $2.99 to $4.09 per square foot depending on the collection. You can use our built-in roll calculator on the product page or the Tools page to determine how many rolls you need based on your wall dimensions.

We ship throughout the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. We also ship to select international destinations. During our launch period, domestic U.S. shipping is our primary focus, with international availability expanding over time. Check our checkout page for the most current shipping destinations.

All orders typically arrive in 3–7 days within the continental United States. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your ZIP and package size.

We offer free The Wallpapers Depot Ground on orders of $499 or more for customers in Los Angeles County, Orange County, and within 60 miles of those counties. Outside that area (or under $499), shipping is calculated at checkout from live carrier rates. Delivery is typically 3–7 days.

Yes. Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number and a link to track your package in real time. If you have questions about a shipment in transit, feel free to contact us with your order number and we will look into it right away.

We are expanding our international shipping program. Currently, we ship to select countries outside the United States. International orders may be subject to customs duties and import taxes, which are the responsibility of the buyer. Every wallpaper roll at The Wallpaper Depot measures 20.9 inches wide by 393.7 inches long (0.53 m by 10 m). This is a standard European roll size widely used by professional installers and suitable for most residential and commercial wallpaper projects.

Each roll covers approximately 57 square feet (5.3 square meters) of wall surface. Keep in mind that pattern matching and cutting margins typically require an additional 10 to 15 percent of material. Our roll calculator accounts for this installation allowance automatically so you order the right amount.

All wallpaper sold at The Wallpaper Depot is paste-the-wall (also called non-woven). This modern wallpaper type does not require soaking or a pasting table. You apply adhesive directly to the wall, then hang the dry paper, making it significantly easier and faster to install than traditional paste-the-back wallpaper. It is also easier to remove cleanly when you are ready for a change.

We photograph every product under controlled, consistent lighting and calibrate our images to be as accurate as possible. However, monitor settings, screen brightness and ambient lighting can all affect how colors appear on your device. For the most accurate color representation, we strongly recommend ordering a $5 sample so you can evaluate the wallpaper in your own space and lighting conditions before committing to a full order.

The pattern repeat varies by design and is listed on each product page under the "Product details" section. Pattern repeat refers to the vertical distance between where a pattern begins and where it repeats. Designs with a larger pattern repeat may require extra material to align the pattern across panels. Our roll calculator and product page both factor in repeat allowance to help you order the correct quantity.

All Wallpaper Depot wallpapers use the paste-the-wall method. In short: prepare your wall (clean, smooth, dry), apply wallpaper paste directly to the wall, hang each panel dry, smooth out air bubbles, and trim excess at the top and bottom. Not necessarily. Paste-the-wall wallpaper is designed to be DIY-friendly, especially for straightforward walls. Many homeowners successfully hang wallpaper themselves following our installation guide. That said, for complex spaces (angled walls, staircases, multiple rooms, or high ceilings), a professional installer can save time and deliver a flawless result. For a paste-the-wall installation, you will need:

• Wallpaper paste (suitable for non-woven/paste-the-wall application)
• A paint roller and tray (for applying paste)
• A spirit level and pencil (for marking a true vertical line)
• A wallpaper smoothing brush or tool
• A sharp utility knife and trim guide
• A ruler or straight edge
• A seam roller
• A sponge or clean damp cloth (for wiping excess paste)
• A bucket for mixing paste

Absolutely. Paste-the-wall wallpaper is the most beginner-friendly type of wallpaper available. Because the paste goes on the wall rather than the paper, you do not need a pasting table and the paper does not become wet and fragile. With basic tools, a level, and patience, most people can achieve professional-looking results on their first try. Start with an accent wall to build confidence before tackling a full room.

Good wall preparation is the most important step for a successful wallpaper installation. Start by removing any existing wallpaper. Fill holes and cracks with spackle or filler, then sand the surface smooth once dry. The wall should be clean, dry and free of dust, grease or loose paint. If the wall has been freshly plastered or painted with a dark color, apply a wallpaper primer or sizing to create a uniform surface for better adhesion. We accept returns of unopened, unused wallpaper rolls within 30 days of delivery. The wallpaper must be in its original packaging and in resalable condition. To start a return, contact us with your order number and we will provide return instructions and a shipping label. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days of receiving the return.

To request a refund, contact our support team with your order number and the reason for the refund. We will review your request and guide you through the return process if applicable. Once we receive and inspect the returned product, your refund will be processed within 5 to 10 business days. You will receive an email confirmation when the refund has been issued.

Unfortunately, opened or partially used wallpaper rolls cannot be returned. Because wallpaper is a made-to-order product that must remain sealed to ensure quality, we can only accept returns of unopened rolls in their original packaging. This is why we strongly recommend ordering a $5 sample first to confirm the color, texture and pattern before purchasing full rolls.

If your wallpaper arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage and your order number. We take shipping damage seriously and will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you. Do not attempt to install damaged wallpaper, as this may void the replacement or refund eligibility.

The Room Visualizer is a free service from The Wallpaper Depot that lets you see how any wallpaper design would look on your actual wall before you buy. Upload a photo of your room, select up to three wallpaper designs, and our design team will digitally apply the wallpaper to your photo and send you the result. It takes the guesswork out of choosing wallpaper and helps you make a confident decision.

Using the Room Visualizer is simple:

• Upload a straight-on photo of your wall (a phone camera photo works perfectly)
• Browse all 229 designs across 6 collections and select up to 3 wallpapers to try
• Enter your name, phone and email address
• Submit your request

Our design team will apply each selected wallpaper to your room photo and email you the visualizations, typically within hours.

Yes, the Room Visualizer is completely free. There is no cost and no obligation to purchase. We offer this service because we believe seeing wallpaper in your own space is the best way to make a confident buying decision. You can submit multiple visualization requests for different rooms or designs at no charge.

Most visualization results are delivered within a few hours during business hours (Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM EST). Requests submitted outside of business hours will be processed the next business day. During peak periods, turnaround may take up to 24 hours. You will receive your visualizations via email at the address you provided when submitting your request.
